Whether you are a fan of island beats or tranquil instrumentation, there is something for everyone with the new score for the acclaimed Ubisoft gaming series Far Cry®. Composed by Pedro Bromfman, the LP includes twenty-one cinematically infused tracks. Your heart and mind will be engaged in the fictional Caribbean island of Yara and its inhabitants, which will be explored further in the forthcoming game Far Cry® 6. Pedro has made memorable soundtracks for other productions, like the 2014 film Robocop. He has also produced music for three seasons on the acclaimed Netflix series Narcos.
Two tracks that stand out for us would be the dramatic and thriller-like opening track ‘ El Presidente’. It may start off very meek, but the build-up will give you goosebumps with its cinematic and authoritarian flair. ‘ Libertad’ feels more vibrant and victorious with its radiant synth infusions. We could go through each track, but these two stand out with their contrasting mood and atmosphere. We don’t doubt that this game is going to be just as epic and emotionally fragrant as the album.
Music producer Pedro Bromfman shared his excitement about the album on socials : “My soundtrack for Far Cry 6 is out today! Check it out wherever you get your music. Thank you Ubisoft for bringing me along on this ride! Thank you Juan Carlos Enríquez for all of your help with the score!”
