Chris Garneau shares intense and visceral music video for single, ‘Torpedo’.

Chris Garneau has shared the video for his single “ToBrpedo” on HuffPost. Billboard streamed his new LP Yours ahead of its 11/9 release date. Prior to the album stream, he released three singles, Cool Hunting announced Chris’ new LP, as well as the first single entitled “Torpedo” featuring Shannon Funchess of Light Asylum and PopMatters/BlackBook shared his track “Choices”. Chris also released the track “Ambush”. His fourth full-length LP Yours will be out 11/9 via The Orchard. Chris just got done touring across the globe including dates in the U.S., Europe, and China.
 
Chris Garneau’s fourth full-length album, Yours, will be released on November 9, 2018. His earlier albums; Music for Tourists LP (2006), C-Sides EP (2007), El Radio LP (2009) and Winter Games LP (2013) have been released in North America, Europe, China, Japan and South Korea – markets where he has also toured extensively for over 10 years. Garneau has also landed over 30 synch placements for film, cable and advertising. His cover of Between the Bars (Elliott Smith) was featured in Pedro Almodóvar’s The Skin I live In (2011).
 
 
 
Chris Garneau entered the New York music scene in 2006 with his debut album Music for Tourists, first released on Absolutely Kosher Records. He was brought to the label by Jamie Stewart and Caralee McElroy of Xiu Xiu. The album was later released in Europe and Asia. Vincent Moon shot Garneau in his Take-Away Show series which earned the singer-songwriter worldwide visibility, and special attention in France where the session was shot.
 
Garneau later released C-Sides EP (2007), El Radio LP (2009), and Winter Games LP (2013) on various labels in North America, Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, and Brazil — markets where he has toured extensively and shared the stage with Xiu Xiu, Jose Gonzalez, Keren Ann, My Brightest Diamond, Joan as Policewoman, Camera Obscura, among many others. Garneau opened for Charlotte Gainsbourg at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2010.
 
He has also landed over 30 synch placements for film, television, and advertising (including Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Dream Corp LLC, and  others). His cover of Elliott Smith’s ‘Between the Bars’ was featured in Pedro Almodóvar’s ‘The Skin I Live In’.
 
With roots in New York and Paris, Garneau has been attracting impassioned fans around the world since his debut. His fourth full-length album, Yours, was recorded in Lyon, France, with Maxime Vavasseur of Witxes, and Benoît Bel. Yours is due for release in November 2018.
