Portland producer FENRA,  just unleashed his first EP Delusional, via 6x Records. The Santa Rosa-raised, Oregon-based artist taught himself guitar as a teenager, paved his own way by touring the States, Europe, and Asia in bands, then flipped the script toward solo electronic work. Early singles ‘COFFEE’ and ‘DEEPCUT’ already turned heads at Magnetic Magazine and CLASH, and the whole thing got polished off by Aneek Thapar (the guy behind cuts for Rival Consoles and Max Cooper). Anyone into the warm, intricate lanes of Caribou, Four Tet, Floating Points, or Bonobo will clock the lineage instantly.

Across four tracks, he moves from the tense, shuffling house pulse of ‘DEEPCUT’ into dulcimer-flecked ambient drift on ‘COFFEE’, then peaks with the footwork-leaning, broken-beat lift of  ‘CHICAGO’ – all minimal synth hope, twinkling organic textures and chopped choral swells. The closing track ‘FREE’ keeps the energy bright but relaxed, wrapping the project in that sweet spot between club momentum and bedroom introspection.

FENRA shared: “I knew from the beginning that I wanted to explore dance music in my own way, weaving in found sounds, ASMR textures, and strings. I started each song from that place, building an atmosphere and mood with a palette of sounds collected from everyday life. From there, I went into the studio with drum machines and synths, and the songs grew more dramatic than I first expected.”

Delusional EP Tracklist:

1. DEEPCUT
2. HAMGIRL
3. CHICAGO
