‘After The Rain’: Klur Delivers His Second Album Today Via Colorize

Out now on October 3 from Colorize comes After The Rain, the latest full-length from Sweden’s Klur—or Patrik Kindvall if you’re going by his given name. This one follows his 2022 entry point Visions by dialing in his approach to sound layers, natural-field integrations, and melodies that land with real weight, positioning him firmly in the progressive and melodic house lane. He’s clocked more than 100 million Spotify listens, earned a spot in STIM‘s ranking of the 100 quickest-rising Swedish tunesmiths, and locked down regular spins on SiriusXM Chill, all while getting props from electronic mainstays Lane 8, Above & Beyond, Black Coffee, and Armin van Buuren. That kind of traction doesn’t happen overnight.

The singles that led up to this painted a clear picture: ‘Sequoia’ folds environmental captures with luminous synth work and off-kilter details that hold your attention through every pass. ‘Impossible’ brings in LeyeT out of LA, her voice cutting clean against swelling backdrops and easygoing percussion. Teaming with BJOERN again on ‘Unbound’, Klur leans into rising tensions and poised phrasing for something that feels urgent yet controlled. And ‘After The Rain’ itself, with input from Norwegian keys player Ole-Bjørn Talstad, balances hazy surroundings with precise melodic threading, marking how far his production has come.

Since kicking things off with ‘Summit’ and ‘Odysée’, and riding waves from ‘Floating’, ‘Entangled’, and ‘Roots’, Klur has treated Colorize like an extension of his setup, testing melodic house’s limits while holding onto what works. Expect him to road-test this set on a 2026 North American jaunt, details slated for reveal soon.

Klur said: “This album feels like a natural continuation of Visions, but also a leap forward. Each track represents a piece of a journey—personal and sonic. ‘After The Rain’ for me brings that feeling of starting fresh, finding new inspiration in both new and old ideas and just letting the music guide me somewhere raw and real.
