Singer-songwriter Jacob Lee’s released ‘Sorrow’ on September 20th his own label Philosophical Record. ‘Sorrow’ from his album Jacob Lee’s Book of Lyricism (Vol 1), due later this year, was released accompanied by its video and he has since released a poetic version of the video “Sorrow – A poem by Jacob Lee.” where he expresses “Sorrow is an emotion, I never really understood until now…”
The Australian was born on the Gold Coast in Queensland. With over 140 million streams he received attention from artists and became the primary writer and lyricist for fellow musicians including Will Sparks, Reece Low, Marco Farouk, Tom Enzy, Buzzmeisters, Trifo, Swede Dreams, and more. ’Sorrow’ was premiered via Rolling Stone India and since received great praise. His music takes elements from many genres to producee a sound comparable to James Bay, Calum Scott and Sleeping At Last.
