The music video created by Tjoff Koong Studios who has previously collaborated with highly acclaimed director Wes Anderson , serves to elevate the emotional track. The gorgeous animation focuses on water in several different states, each adapting to its surroundings. Clouds, snow, crashing waves, water droplets on leaves; it all complements the overall theme of the track; acceptance. Towards the end of the visually-appealing animation, the bright colours from Löffler’s gear are reflected in the water surrounding him, creating a mesmerising scene as nature and technology coexist in perfect harmony. 

On the inspiration of ‘Like Water’, Christian Löffler comments, “As a child, I was once pulled underwater by a wave so that I no longer knew where the ground was or the surface of the water. I thought I would drown. Then I made it to the surface intuitively and was overwhelmed by the power of nature and the thin thread on which our little life hangs. This story always comes to my mind when I am by the sea and in “Like Water“, this experience is kind of a positive metaphor. To connect with nature and not to fight against it…”
