Swedish composer & musician JOSEFIN RUNSTEEN presents her debut album Hana – Three bodies (Original Soundtrack).

HANA – Three bodies (Original Soundtrack) was originally composed as a soundtrack to a Butoh dance piece by choreographer/dancer Frauke. It is an ode to the innate intelligence of nature dedicated to its 5 elements (air, earth, water, fire, and void), mixing largely electronics with pop, ambient, modern classical, post-rock and experimental music elements.

Josefin Runsteen‘s background is impressive. In recent years this young free spirit multi-instrumentalist has toured with international indie-pop acts such as Feist, Damien Rice, Ane Brun, Loney Dear and Frank Ocean. On top of this, she has been very active in the jazz/avant-garde scene. She was awarded the prestigious Jazzkatten by the National Swedish Radio – category “Newcomer of the year 2019” and played with the Swedish Jazz elite: Fire! orchestra, Mats Gustafsson.

Josefin was also invited as a violin soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2020, she released an acoustic album in duo with Charles Spearin (founding member of Canadian indie elite Do Make Say Think & Broken Social Scene).
