This Deep Heads track is set for official release tomorrow, where it will also be made available on various digital streaming platforms. The producer also known as Andreas Kühn has been creating mellow beats since his teens and diverted from this with his Sidi moniker, where he explored other avenues musically. After a life-altering event, he gravitated back to his roots with the Liminka alias.
Liminka shares the bittersweet background about how this track came to be: “This tune is a reconnection with myself as a producer since it was the first song I wrote in a long time. I was searching for this hidden part of me that used to write this kind of music, trying to be true to myself. I also kind of wrote it to my girlfriend at the time. I was stuck at home because I had an injury, but could not reach her, so I made music in the hope she would hear me.”
Lo-fi rhythm patterns and acoustics collide with a downtempo base on this latest gem. Although the motivation behind this track is somewhat heartwrenching, one can also admire its sophistication and beauty. Isn’t that how life goes?
