Enigmatic pair FABRIKATE unveil downtempo new release, ‘Luxe’

Displaying their slick fusion of analog-inspired electronica and soothing melodies, mysterious duo FABRIKATE have unveiled their chilled new single, ‘Luxe,’ an ode to their mysterious and minimalistic style.

Using an image of a Japanese Geisha on the production’s artwork, a continued FABRIKATE theme, the symbolic sign of purity reflects an ongoing story throughout FABRIKATE’s musical evolution, explaining, “You can’t really associate a genre to the FABRIKATE sound, and you can’t really pin-point other artists that do that type of song, yet it’s cool and makes you move your feet.”

Having previously found their feet with a more traditional deep house sound, the Montreal-based pair’s debut album ‘Bodies’ – ranked #5 for top iTunes electronic albums in Canada showcased their passion for synthesis and 80’s inspired rhythm sections, with new single ‘Luxe’ following on from recent release ‘NYCM’.

Cleverly blending house & electronica facets, their signature sound has received backing from Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo on their Heldeep, and Hexagon, radio shows, respectively, as well as Major Lazer superstar Diplo, who aired their productions during his BBC Radio 1 residency, ‘Diplo & Friends’.

Solidifying their reputation as one of 2019’s most intriguing talents, the beautifully downtempo ‘Luxe’ is set for release on Friday 8th February.
