Japanese Music Producer Noah Has Released A New Music Video For The New Song ‘像自己 (Xiangziji)’

Noah’s smoke-hazed voice weaves through her music, reverberating both energy and beauty. Her anticipated album Thirty, expected October 18th, is a result of combined inspiration from her past three years in Tokyo, a love letter of sorts to the city she resides in, told with all the glitz, vehemence, pandemonium and nostalgia that this Japanese city invokes.

Noah grew up in Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island. The environment had a profound effect on Noah that still influences her music today. After a brief period in Nagoya, she now resides in Tokyo. Noah has worked with LA producer SELA, Constellation’s French-Canadian producer Joni Void and British glitch extraordinaire Kidkanevil.

The new single ‘像自己 (Xiangziji)’ is the latest track from her upcoming record, featuring dancing, moth-to-a-flame synths ceaselessly growing to a wild crescendo, while leading us through a panorama of psychedelic visuals in the new music video directed by John Smith (Jessy Lanza, Teen Ravine). Like catching a train to Tokyo’s centre and watching the city come to life. ‘像自己 (Xiangziji)’ brings one to a state of awe through a serene yet other-worldly type of experience.
