For those of you who don’t know Kinobe, they are a band that formed in West London during the late ‘90s, creating multi-instrumental music influenced by its members’ love of Soul, Jazz, R&B, and a number of other genres. They first gained attention when their song ‘Slip Into Something More Comfortable’ became somewhat of a chillout classic in its own right, featuring on various mediums, namely compilations and television commercials.

Their latest offering drew from a particular image as its source of creative stimulus.  “When I wrote this song I was imagining what might be playing on the jukebox while J.J. Cale, John Barry, and Percy Faith play poker in the bar of a formerly-splendid-but-now-run-down hotel somewhere down a forgotten desert highway as the colours of the sunset revive its faded glory,” they said.
