British chill band Kinobe returns with the enchanting single ‘Lucky Stars’, released on 5th July 2024 via SGKL. Premiering on NOTION, it has received early radio support from NPR Music, KEXP, and SBS Chill. ‘Lucky Stars’ teases their upcoming album, Out of The Blue, set for release on 9th August 2024. Created at Kinobe HQ in Western Australia and mastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road, both releases promise a captivating experience. With over 50 million Spotify streams, Kinobe has gained support from CLASH Mag, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Sputnik Music, Hot Press, The Guardian, and The Independent.
‘Lucky Stars’ is a breezy time capsule, seamlessly blending Kinobe’s signature sparkle and lush strings with crisp, strummed acoustic guitar, gentle flute melodies, a driving bassline, and electric guitar riffs reminiscent of David Gilmour’s softer moments. The song exudes the buoyant whimsy of Percy Faith and the dreamy ambiance of Santo & Johnny, layered with the brooding introspection characteristic of Pink Floyd. This sunny, daydream-like track perfectly captures the essence of a carefree summer, promising to become your go-to soundtrack for the season. With its intricate mix of elements, ‘Lucky Stars’ transports listeners to a serene, nostalgic world, making it a standout addition to Kinobe’s repertoire.
Founding member Julius revealed: “The melody came to me as I watched the ocean waves roll in on a perfect summer’s day. I thanked my lucky stars to be in such a beautiful place and for the inspiration I was gifted that day.”
