Aaron Sibley has just released his third single ‘Holiday Love’ from his latest EP. ‘Holiday Love’ is an acapella ballad made up of rich Harmonies and intertwining melodies. Holiday Love is the perfect mix of Aaron’s warm vocal timbre and great ear for harmony.
Recorded in various studio locations across London, including Aaron’s flat, the architecture of the song revolves exclusively around Aaron’s rich and soulful vocals. The acapella piece features interesting melismas and attractive harmonies, it this delicacy that sets ‘Holiday Love’ apart.
The song is a farewell to a man that had a huge significance in Aaron’s life. The acapella featured signifies the feeling of being alone after his departure and the rawness of the emotions can only really be felt by hearing his unaccompanied vocals. This emotional piece of music is a closing of a book that has set the pathway for Aaron’s future. It is the relationship that this song is about which changed Aaron’s life forever.
The official music video explores the delicate feeling of saying goodbye to someone special. It plays with the idea of trying to remember the love that was there years after, almost like a dream that you can’t quite remember. Aaron wanted to find someone who would be able to create a routine that captured these raw emotions and put them into movement. He worked with Megs Slark and Aisha Rassou who choreographed an incredibly sentimental and passionate piece of lyrical interpreted Dance.
Just 22-years-old, Aaron has made a mark on the London music scene already having released 3 Singles with 3 Music videos, and a 6 song EP in March 2019.
Back in 2017, Aaron was a Pride’s Got Talent finalist, performing on the main stage of Pride in London in Trafalgar Square. His soul-influenced acoustic music (think James Morrison, Tori Kelly, Bruno Major or OneRepublic) has been played across the UK and Europe. His 2018 song ‘Once Upon a Time’ reached Moldova’s Eurovision National Finals.
