This trio has been in talks about releasing this stripped-down version for a while, Marcus James previously stated that Warning Sign EP was originally recorded as acoustic tracks. The trio has received much hype around their indie meets dance-pop sound, and now they unveil another dimension to their artistry with this acoustic video version and EP announcement. The video, though a simple home studio space proves to be a comforting watch with homely, earthy tones visually, atmospheric vocals & guitar play that carry the track well.
RYYZN share their thoughts on the acoustic version of the single “Getting a chance to redo Night Light was a treat for me. Normally when you sing vocals for a pop record, you have to sort of keep everything very simple and focused. But with the acoustic stripped-down remake, it gave me license to have some fun with it. I got to really SING the song, and throw some fun little changes into it that I always wanted but thought maybe weren’t as ‘poppy’.”
