Damien Tronchot has been a pianist since childhood. Based in Paris and now Rennes, he released 2 EPs blending classical influences and electronic music under his PAVANE moniker. For the Piano Day, he unveils a piano solo recording of his new single “Rameau, etc”. It comes from a melody of Debussy‘s piano piece “Hommage à Rameau”, that PAVANE plays upbeat to create a suspended feel.
With this stripped-down version, PAVANE comes back to his first love and shines a light on a forgotten classical piece.
