Tim Bernhardt, the creative force behind Satin Jackets, has solidified his place in the nu-disco and deep house scenes since launching the project in 2012. His breakout single ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ became a genre-defining hit, followed by critically acclaimed albums Panorama Pacifico (2016) and Solar Nights (2019), which have collectively amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify. Collaborations with artists like Panama, Tensnake, and Booka Shade, alongside remixes for Goldroom and Blank&Jones, have showcased his knack for blending retro disco with modern flair. Satin Jackets has graced stages at major festivals like Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas in 2022, earning praise from outlets like Clash Magazine and i-D for his “super sexy, infectious house music filled with the vibe of summertime.”

The lead single from the upcoming album, ‘Control ft Seint Monet’, dropped on May 30, 2025, offering a taste of what’s to come on Cruise Control. Described as a fusion of nostalgic 80s flair and modern indie sensibility, the track delivers a cinematic, listening-first experience with ethereal vocals from Seint Monet. Its genre is characterized by shimmering disco elements, Balearic grooves, and laid-back pop undertones, as noted in its YouTube release. With Luis Calçada on bass and visuals by Pilota Creative, the song has already garnered over 82,000 views, signaling strong anticipation for the full album.

Set for release on July 18, 2025, via Golden Hour, Cruise Control will be supported by an extensive 2025 tour kicking off in May. Satin Jackets will perform in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen, with a confirmed slot at Melkweg on November 15, 2025. The tour follows the success of previous outings, which included sold-out shows and festival appearances that drew thousands, building a global fanbase of over 89,000 on Songkick. His 2023-2024 tours, featuring club and rooftop performances worldwide, demonstrated his enduring appeal, further amplified by engaging Lockdown Streams during the pandemic. Fans can expect tickets starting at $21, with high demand anticipated for this next chapter of Satin Jackets’ live legacy.
