Synthwave composer Color Theory releases song ‘Juggernaut’

Brian Hazard aka Color Theory has released his B-side single ‘Juggernaut’ via 11th Records. The synthwave musician has been featured on influential synthwave channels like NewRetroWave, The ’80s Guy, LuigiDonatello, and SoulSearchAndDestroy. He is the winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Brian’s other success includes having his music featured in the popular game franchise Just Dance and Rock Band. Color Theory’s music has been featured in the television program MTV’s The Real World. He has also been featured in multiple interviews with Vehlinggo, MusicTech, and Dope Cause We Said.

The synthwave composer grew up in the warm climate of California. He would join his high school jazz band as the piano player. Later, Brian would enroll into university to study a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance. With mistaken identity for one of his earlier releases titled ‘Ponytail Girl’ being renamed Depeche Mode B-side, Brian would release a tribute album to one of his favourite bands titled Color Theory presents Depeche Mode.

Color Theory finds inspiration from the menacing tone of Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Baths for his underlying soundscape and mood of his music. However, his resulting sound sits closer to the works of The Midnight, Gunship and Kavinsky.
