Thrill Jockey is proud to announce the signing of San Sebastián, Spain-based musician Elena Setién. Her vivid songwriting and nuanced compositions breathe life into allegories, from the mundane to the mythical. Previously known for her work in the Scandinavian experimental duo Little Red Suitcase with Johanna Borchert, Setién’s solo material is direct and adventurous, affecting and engaging.

This autumn, Elena Setién will be a featured artist at the BIME Festival in Bilbao on 26 – 27th October, performing alongside the likes of Aphex Twin, MGMT, Slowdive, Kurt Vile, and more.

Setién’s Thrill Jockey debut will be out in early 2019, and features guest performances by Steve Gunn.
