See our exclusive interview with him below:
Describe your sound for us. What do you want people to feel when they hear your music?
Organic texture and ambient feel. Tend to focus more on ideas than feeling these days- a concept is as important as a sound choice – always go for a minimalistic approach.
Which 3 artists have influenced you the most growing up?
Steve Reich, Daniel Avery, unknown artist from Romania.
How did you discover your particular sound?
It’s a long process through experimentation, try and error and listening to a wide range of genres.
What are the most important pieces of equipment to you?
My Mac Pro and Audio Technica headphones.
What outside of music inspires you to create?
My surrounding environment and the current social-political climate, the latest EP was pretty much based on what’s happening right now.
Do you have a favourite memory of your career so far that you will take with you forever?
Meeting with people with the same mindset and goal in life through music
If you could work with, or perform alongside any artist living or passed, who would it be?
I’d say, Claude Debussy
Most artists say that if they weren’t artists they would be mailmen/women… what would you be?
Bird?
What can we expect from you in the near future? Any upcoming projects or gigs in the pipeline that you would like to tell us about?
Will be focusing more on an experimental project in the near future following the latest sound art EP release.
